The goal of Cooper Perkins was the development of a new brand and marketing strategy that will better establish the firm as a thought leader in the space of electromechanical engineering and differentiate the brand’s value from competitors with an emphasis on creative engagement practices that elevate perception in the market.

When the path forward isn’t clear, the team you turn to should be. This was the genesis of the Cooper Perkins logo. The Path. The idea behind the Cooper Perkins identity is that the foundation of the company was built on the always finding a way, a path through the complexity of engineering challenges. A line as a symbol of a solution.

Typography was the foundation for the Cooper Perkins brand system. We choose a monospaced typeface that has roots in engineering and programming. A monospaced font, also called a fixed-pitch, fixed-width, or non-proportional typeface, is a typeface whose letters and characters each occupy the same amount of horizontal space.  Monospaced typefaces  are customary on typewriters and for typesetting computer code and was a perfect fit for the brand.

Imagery is vital in the Cooper Perkins identity system and  helps convey the “we will find a way” attitude and culture within the company. Engineers solving problems was the theme while creating and capturing this imagery.
